Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Fake news. If Iran rejects Orangeman's deal US will use Saudi airspace and land you can bet your monthly salary on this.
Well I guess you didn’t read the article throughly the Saudis supposedly said they couldn’t use their airspace or waters to this so called operation freedom while talks were being held to end this war if the talks fail who knows so far on this thread you haven’t been right much if at all

BREAKING:

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have ditched Trump, they no longer have any hope in US defense

Trump's "Project Freedom" collapsed after Saudi Arabia and Kuwait suspended US military access to their bases, airspace, and overflight rights, per NBC News and Ryan Grim.

Mohammed bin Salman blocked the US from flying aircraft out of Prince Sultan Airbase or through Saudi airspace, completely grounding the operation and removing the air defense umbrella protecting ships in transit.

Bin Salman was "furious" after Trump announced Project Freedom on Truth Social without notifying them.

Qatar and Oman were also blindsided, with Trump only contacting them after the operation began.

A direct call between Trump and the Crown Prince failed to resolve the situation.

All of this is true, though they will have their own list of grievances with us

In my view, we can and must work with the Saudis. We don’t share as much culturally but we have more aligned interests than with the UAE or Bahrain, and the Saudis are big enough that we can’t dismiss or ignore them
You can work with the Saudis as much as you can work with the Americans. Even less. Khomeini, the founder of the 1979 revolution, literally said that even if we forgive what the Americans have done, we will never forgive what the Saudis have done.

The normalization of our ties with the Saudis didn't stop them from trying to overthrow our system the first chance they got, did it? They pursued the exact same policies after normalization, only more passively.

Bahrain is a semi-Iranian state. So are the Emirates and Kuwait. All have large "Ajam" populations, very friendly towards Iran and Iranians. I cannot believe you think we have more aligned interests with the Saudis than the Emiratis, Bahrainis or Kuwaitis. The only aligned interest that the Islamic Republic and Saudi Arabia can have in common is to destroy the Persian/Iranian culture. I cannot think of anything else.

I agree.
There are Saudis and Turkish people, big and powerful countries that Irán is doomed to have intense and at least cordial relations.
Iranian people are pragmatic and realist. Islamic Republic is thinking in the day after the war and more fruits will come with this investment of rationalism, and self constrainment.

Those cultural ties are meaningless since they don’t impact state policy

By this logic our closest strategic allies should be Afghanistan and Tajikistan

Afghanistan and Tajikistan are landlocked countries but they should be our close allies. The fact that they are not is one of the failures of the Islamic Republic in its foreign policies like million other failures they have had in the past 47 years.

Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Pakistan, even Uzbekistan, they all should have close ties with Iran. We have failed to do that due to our incompetence. The same goes for Bahrain, Kuwait and the Emirates.

You can suck up to Saudi Arabia as much as you want. It's just another futile policy like your one-sided love for Palestine, Syria or Iraq. It will lead to nowhere.

I actually agree those countries should be our closest allies, but that’s because the cultural ties are meaningfully reflected in their society and political echelons. Tajiks are the closest thing we have to natural allies and many of them in Afghanistan even identify as ‘east Iranian’

No one is suggesting ‘sucking up’ to Saudi Arabia but acknowledging there are benefits to trying to work with them when we face outwardly Zionist neighbours like Bahrain Azerbaijan and UAE

I lost track how many times he has flip flopped . By now anyone with a half brain knows everything is about market manipulation. Finally, president natanyaboo made it clear no peace until the last goy drops .
