Obama will allow India to have close relationship with Iran and pressure Pakistan. At that time, both Pakistan and China are much weaker compare to now (mostly China). If the deal stays, Afghanistan may not fall. And China may have a bigger problem on Xinjiang
But the greed of Israel that wants to destroy Iran and strip away everything for Iran to defend itself (missile) and influence (proxies) ultimately cause miscalculation.

The Russkies are still flying modern Western jets in their fleets. I think they have been using Armenia and Georgia to sidestep sanctions/restrictions. Iran could follow that path.

Yeah but sanctions also have a big political component. Armenia and Georgia are not facing these secondary sanctions for various reasons and Iran could follow similar approach. At the end of the day the Russians continue to fly modern Airbus Boeing planes and get the needed spare parts.

With the sanctions gone, there are a LOT of options. In my view it was the economic sanctions that were the most effective western weapon.
