Preemptive of what?No missile/drone attack so far by IR. most likely preemptive measures by US pets
USAF is involved in thes Escorts and attacks.. Heavy air tankers activity is going over Hormuz.. Tankers refuel JEts, not drones or helis.. these jets are flying from Pgcc bases and maybe from ACCs..US Ships are hundreds of miles out. They don't phyically escort anything. No US navy ship is anywhere in the entire Persian Gulf, there is zero evidence of that. They emptied the entire naval base before the war. All they do is drone and helicopter escorts. That's it. To shoot down drones. That's not sustainable.
No longer the case.USAF is involved in thes Escorts and attacks.. Heavy air tankers activity is going over Hormuz.. Tankers refuel JEts, not drones or helis.. these jets are flying from Pgcc bases and maybe from ACCs..
Yes indeed, but my point was, no naval ships are escorting anything. You think it's sustainable or even a strategy to keep dozens of fighter jets flying over the Oman area every day? It's ridiculous and posturing. Trying to get Iran to give a finger so they can take the whole hand.USAF is involved in thes Escorts and attacks.. Heavy air tankers activity is going over Hormuz.. Is it me or was Bibi not so subtly hinting they are about to resume attacks regarding Israel will protect international waters let’s see if Israel is about to join this roundSix more US strikes against Iran.
What you want little Oman to do?First of all you cannot force a country to use your territorial waters. So no Iran couldn’t put that explicitly in the MoU, legally speaking.
So it was agreed between Iran and Oman that they would set up a mechanism to equally charge tolls. Then share that revenue. Hence Iran would get revenue regardless of which lane was used.
But then later U.S. told Oman if you charge tolls we will obliterate you. And Oman backed off the idea and became complicit with the West and Arabs.
Will Iran wait hours and allow the U.S. to bomb Iran freely before responding as usual? Rhetorical question…
MOU is explicit that no tolls will be charged for 60 days. Iran and Oman were discussing a form of tolls for after those 60 daysFirst of all you cannot force a country to use your territorial waters. So no Iran couldn’t put that explicitly in the MoU, legally speaking.
