I believe the Americans and Israelis have realized that the Iranians have started integrating Chinese systems into their missiles, making them significantly harder to detect. This development poses a serious threat—if the Iranians fully replace GPS with China’s BeiDou navigation system, Western air defence systems, including those of the U.S., Israel, and the U.K., would become highly exposed and far less effective. That’s likely why they saw it as wiser to agree to a ceasefire. One major outcome of this situation is that countries that were previously intimidated may now feel more confident. For example, Egypt possesses a powerful air force and vast weaponry. Saudi Arabia also has considerable air power. Pakistan not only has a capable air force but also nuclear weapons. The recent confrontation has certainly dealt a blow to Israel’s image of air superiority.
