Iranian Foreign & Resistance Front Strategy & Operations

For Russia it’s good as it’s comparable to HIMARS and other longer range rockets without the high cost of system + ammo.

Not for use on Israel unless used by HZ or Syrian Hezbollah/NDF
I still don't see any advantages for the Russians with the Ababil Op missile. The Russians have the Tornado-S or the Uragan-1M with a range of 70 km, which is comparable to the Himars, using various types of rockets from 70 km range to 120 km range, the ammunition of these rockets still has a larger payload, the Ababil Op has a warhead that weighs 45 kg, while the rockets 150 kg to 280 kg - practically the same total weight as the Ababil Op missile. This missile must be extremely cheaper to be able to give the Russians some advantage comparable to the Himars, but if it is almost the same price as a rocket from MLRS systems, it would not be worth it.

now we are finally starting to see leaks of US intelligence spotting signs of missile prep by Iran. might take longer than last time if the attack is larger.

UK-France-Germany put out a statement urging Iran not to escalate the situation (i.e., not to defend itself against Israeli terrorism which the West supports). UK PM Starmer was on the phone with Pezeshkian for 30 minutes today. there's a lot of diplomacy happening behind the scenes, likely hoping to reduce the scale of Iran's attack to reduce the chance of a larger war.

It’s tonight (or tomm night) or never

History will judge Khamenai’s legacy by his response after 10+ years of Israeli air strikes, assassinations of top scientists and officials, sabotage of bases and facilities, cyberattacks on economic centers.
it makes sense. iran is not so reckless to enter a war with Israel and the entire West and lose so much progress for Haniyeh. killing Iranian scientists 10-15 years ago was a call to war but back then iran didn't have much means to strike Israel. killing Fakhrizadeh and Soleimani were missed opportunities for Iran to show serious power and balls but they were missed opportunities.

and equally what is the point of having a nuclear program if you don't use it to build nuclear weapons...
