Taliban Officials Flee to Bamyan Amid Fears of Pakistani Airstrikes

Sources in Bamyan province have told Aamaj News that several Afghan Taliban officials have relocated to the province amid concerns over Pakistani airstrikes.

According to the sources, the officials arrived in Bamyan using five helicopters and have since taken up residence in the area. The helicopters are still stationed at Bamyan Airport.

"No Taliban are left standing in Panjshir. All were killed in last night’s Pakistani bombardment. A witness, an inside source says five locations in the valley were targeted: Bazarak, Rokha, Pazhghor, Paryan, and Khawak. According to the source, the strikes were precisely coordinated and no civilian casualties have been reported so far. The source also says that this morning the Taliban began transporting their bodies to Kabul, and the process is still ongoing."

The presence of Taliban militias in Panjshir is greater than along the Durand Line

The Durand Line stretches more than 2,500 kilometers. Along this entire border — with Pakistan on the other side — the Taliban have deployed fewer than 30,000 militiamen in the framework of eight border brigades. These forces are mainly positioned alongside the formations of the 201 Nangarhar, 203 Paktia, 205 Kandahar, and 215 Helmand corps. In total, the Taliban’s entire military presence along the Durand Line amounts to under 30,000 fighters.

Yet why have Taliban militia leaders concentrated as many as 23,000 of their anti-people forces exclusively in the 138-kilometer-long Panjshir Valley? In other words, they have stationed the equivalent of three full militia corps — fighters who share no common language with our people — in Panjshir purely for suppression and to enforce a policy of religious fanaticism.

The hypocrites who lobby for the Taliban while hiding behind the mask of nationalism claim these issues should not be raised. So then — which issues should be raised?

I don't know why we aren't using YIHA drone in mass numbers striking sheds in afghan airbases especially Kabul and Kandahar

My concern is why Afghanistan has not been declared no fly zone by PAF & PA. Anything flying that doesn't registers as ours, especially helicopters, should be targets.

There are civilian Airliners that are using the Airspace, declaring a no fly zone now would massively disrupte them especially because they can't fly over most of the middle East.

That has crossed my mind. Nevertheless, its something that should have been done. Pakistan could still have taken control over the airspace, and approval for flying over the country should have been sought from Pakistan.

Any policy from Pakistan to not let the taliban form a mass anywhere near the border like 200 km? there should have been a missile strike right there.
