I don't have a prediction for J-35 as I have a very basic understanding of the different roles fighter aircraft play.

I like our JF-17 Thunder very much, and I would like to see at least 250 inducted into the PAF. Why, you might ask.

I grew up watching F-16 bringing great wonders to the nation especially in the 1990s, while JF-17 Thunder brought us freedom, great respect and honour.

And J-10C is already become Air superiority jets for PAF, replacing our F-16C/D which is only in 18 in numbers and our F-16C/Ds are already become second tier air defense jets with the introduction of J-10C and our older and upgraded (MLUed) F-16s are become mainly for strike/CAS and anti-ship platforms along with our Rose Mirages

And J-35 is 3-4 times expensive to operate/ maintain and logistic is also difficult For Pakistan for J-35 compare to 4/4.5th gen jets

Again, if all goes fine and China wants to set a sign against India (what they so far do not) they could come in / until late 2028. Otherwise maybe until 2030!

Indians used to boast for their deep pockets and wanted to drag Pakistan into an arms race in an effort to push Pakistan into economic meltdown. Now Indians are finding themselves forced into sprees of shoppings and still earning defeats and humiliation at both the military and diplomatic fronts. What a wonderful job did Pakistan by turning the tables on arrogant Indians.

On top of it, the Pak Deep State is leveraging its military industrial complex to the umpteenth level to garner prestige and wealth in the ever-evolving geo-strategic maps. It's making it's own framework, so that the vulnerable Muslim countries may find a refuge. HE sometimes EMPLOYs HIS enemies to implement HIS PLANs. Only if they knew or understood....

Hello sir,

I have been saying related thing in jf17 thread but I mocked by members. Jf17 or any pakistani weapons export is good for muslim nations. Especially jf17. Whether its rich country like ksa or poor like nigeria. Turkey is doing same arming azerbaijan etc. Ksa needs a plane that is sanction free away from blackmail of ksa ever has to go against us ally or its interest.

My prediction is 14th August, 2028. prediction date today 1/16/2025
 
I just realized that there is no main thread yet for the J-35AE, so it’s likely that deliveries to Pakistan would happen after 2027–2029 or end of 2026, we don’t know yet - it depends on the manufacturing process.

Same thing we used to laugh at the J-10B/C and didn’t believe it would be delivered to Pakistan. Somehow, the J-10CE arrived in March 2022.
