The contract is on hold for the time being. The delivery time frame and price demanded by the Turks was considered unrealistic.

Depending on funds they might just get a lite version of HAVASOJ and everyone will get kudos for a successful project.
 
HAVASOJ will combine many different electronic warfare capabilities on a single Aircraft

1-- Aselsan MILKAR-4A2 next gen high frequency Electronic Attack System

MILKAR-4A2 High Frequency (HF) Jamming System is developed by ASELAN for the purpose of applying Electronic Attack to target communication systems communicating in the HF band on different platforms.

It is used to provide an advantage to friendly units in the tactical field by preventing target HF band communications or causing incorrect information transmission

MILKAR-4A2 is already in service

2-- Aselsan REDET-2 Radar Electronic Warfare System

It detects and diagnoses threat radars and creates the Electronic Battle Order by determining the necessary information of the radars along with their directions as a basis for electronic attack.

It applies electronic attack in the form of deception or jamming in order to reduce the coverage areas of detected target radars or to disable them for certain periods of time.

REDET-2 is already in service

Bombardier has thrown a fit at TA converting these to havasoj and stopped further deliveries of the AC. I think there are only 2 airframes in Ankara so far - the original two delivered. I don't know if it has something to do with the souring of Turkiye's relationship with USA over the S400 deal.

PAF has been in discussions for havasoj for at least 5 years but no contract so far. I'm guessing the stumbling block was the availability of the aircraft, which the PAF has obtained on its own.

These are geared toward tackling and lashing down the systems from Russia, Israil and the West - all bases are covered....

It's the ultimate demonstration of the motivation, genius and skillsets of the extremely hardworking folks from my alma mater. A good many decades back, on the very first day of my first EM course our professor was talking about the accomplishments in the EW field by the researchers in our department. He particularly said they had solved many stuffs that their competitors hadn't and had been keeping them secret. Unfortunately, he's not here to see what colossal stuffs his students have built. I, for one, am a very worthless grad of that very worthy school...

Does anyone have details about jamming capabilities? I tried it previously also, but all I can find about ESM, might be because of language gap.

TAI has already 4 Bombardier Global 6000 Aircraft for HAVASOJ Project

Within the scope of the HAVA SOJ Project, The three Aircraft arrived at TAI in February 2019

And the last of the 4 Bombardier Global 6000 Aircraft was delivered to TAI in january 2020

Aselsan's Bombardier Global 6000 Air SOJ electronic warfare aircraft program is progressing well

The Turkish Air Force's requirement to jam and paralyze enemy radar and communication systems from operating during offensive operations will allow Turkish Fighter Jets to enter safe areas


All three main onboard communications systems, consisting of communications jammer, radar jammer and communications intelligence/electronic intelligence (COMINT/ELINT), were developed by the Turkish company ASELSAN


All 4 HAVASOJ Aircraft will be delivered to the Turkish Air Force between 2026 and 2028
