Hypersonic?????
The army should stop playing with definitions. ISPR can put a spin on it but it is still isn't a proper hypersonic missile.....Hypersonic, but not as in Hypersonic Glide Vehicle (HGV). Rather, its the hypersonic speed at the terminal phase.
The below image is what you can call an actual "Hypersonic" missile because it has an HGV. US Army just recently tested its Black Beard Ground Launched Hypersonic missile. Lets hope our Fatah series evolves into this soon. The army should stop playing with definitions. ISPR can put a spin on it but it is still isn't a proper hypersonic missile.....

But the word "hypersonic" has specifically been used in announcement today.....never before.....Every self respecting ballistic missile is hypersonic during the terminal phase.

The true technical core of a hypersonic missile is that it travels at speeds exceeding Mach 5 during the mid-course phase of flight while retaining controllable, high-maneuverability capabilities. This is my main take from the ISPR statement, could mean many things though
"“It is capable of engaging targets with high precision and defeating [the] enemy’s missile defence systems due to its unique trajectory and manoeuvrability features,”
