Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

I don't believe in this being mutual security. It sounds like a one sided deal.

In a future confrontation with India I have complete doubts over any of the gulf states being supportive towards Pakistan. They will remain impartial at best.
The only two countries that supported Pakistan in the May confrontation with India were Turkiye and China. But post conflict, Pakistan has gone back to old habits of chasing Amreeka and rich Arabs for $$$. I fear in next confrontation, Pakistan will be alone.

Update: The agreement specifically says "all military means".
I used to have great respect and love for Saudis only for the sake of Allah and for the fact that the two most holiest places on the earth happen to be in that country, but they lost all my respect when they started their BonHomie with the Hindu filth and allowed them to build houses of Shirk in the Arab world. For the material wealth, of which they had no shortage, they chose to side with the indians when it came to Pakistan Vs. India, did not pass the resolution regarding Kashmir in the OIC summits.

Now that it's their turn to get ass spanking, as Saudi's and Emirati's and as Hindu lovers, I would love to see their arses kicked by the rotten zionists and maybe given the same treatment as the Iraqi generals were given in the Abu Gharib, but as a Muslim I would absolutely hate to see any Muslim be harmed/harassed/humiliated by any non-muslim.

So yes, we should lead in protecting other Muslim Nations including Palestine just for the pleasure of Allah and his Messenger and not for the greed of few dollars these Arab's might throw in front of the corrupt ruling mafia.

The rumour is, 2 Arab nations are interested in signing very similar agreement. I reckon it is Qatar and UAE
In all seriousness we should stay away from UAE, Dubai is basically a open base for MOSSAD and CIA, and emirati's are C-word. I understand KSA/Qatar maybe Kuwait but we should not offer any such agreement to UAE.

An economically strong Pakistan is now in the strategic security interests of Saudia Arabia as that is what is required for Pakistan to be able to buy weapons. Saudia Arabia is now tied to hip of Pakistans economy.
Saudia should or will I hope redirect actual investments into Pakistan now ..

It would be peanuts for the rich GCC countries to have Pakistan in their corner. A mere $20 billion of financial engagement per year to Pakistan, through FDI or grants or whatever means, is chump change for the GCC Arab countries but with good benefits in return, but that would greatly reduce the pressure Pakistan has been facing in its fiscal policies every year. And I believe the current leadership in Pakistan is well aware that 'either perform or perish', so nothing is going to be taken for granted by Pakistan anymore.
If the Pakistani state was as dysfunctional, and as 'corrupt', as the blogspace wants you to believe then it could not have successfully carried on the policies in Afghanistan post 9/11 and it could not have given India the bloody nose. Think about that!

Does this means oil money flow into Pakistan?
Nobody knows what this means, I will celebrate when Pakistan start building its own Military/Air base in KSA which will be operated by just Pakistan and KSA, no American influence on that, and we can station our and Saudi Jets there with maybe Pakistan's Chinese HQ-series AD systems.

Shehbaz Sharif seeing Saudi Jets welcoming him then a purple carpet and MBS coming to receive him...

The script began to change unexpectedly to everyone. This is not the script that the United States wants

bhai 1.5-2Billion dollars for 36 J-10CE fighters, Qatari Emir aur MBS ki pocket money hai yeh... few more millions for a Proper 2 layer AD system over a Air base operated by Pakistan, that is the best 2 Billion KSA/Qatari ever used. They give America Trillions and in the end still get bombed, at least given PAF guarding the 2 holy sites and air space it will give an extra layer for KSA/Qatar.

What's up with the talk of 'bases' in Saudi Arabia for Pakistan? Hasn't Iran recently showed that it could attack and destroy America's darling Israel's prized Tel Aviv and still make a fairly fair 'peace' to end that conflict? What did Iran have? The Balls and the Missiles, despite all the sanctions. Pakistan has the Balls--but lacks the oil $$, unlike Iran, for the Missiles. Give the money, the missiles will come. The Chinese will gladly help.
And why do people bring up Pakistan protecting the Islam's holiest place in Saudi Arabia? Israel doesn't even have the Balls to destroy the Dome of Rock Mosque right in Jerusalem and yet some talk about Mecca and Medina? Israelis are not stupid--they will play their Messianic cards when absolutely sure and until then stirring the 57-country sized hornets' nest is an absolute no go.

Of course not, but USA is committed to Israel... in fact Israel is holding America as hostage via its Pedo Politicians and Child Groomers in Evangelical church who are die hard fan of Jews. If America had stopped Qatar Attacked, it would've help America a lot in the eyes of Arabs, meaning America was paid to protect these countries and they did it, I don't want to into details on how America wanted Hamas in Qatar so its not their fault, but America knew that Netanyahu F'd up big but they can't do anything about it. America is more compromised than any other country on planet earth, the people don't care because their politicians sell them the same BS.

The little I know (it's still not confirmed officially) is that Saudia may be very interested in keeping a large contingent of Pakistani military there including our own weapon systems as well as investing into the Pakistani defense sector. They told me that Saudia has realized a parallel force needs to be in place. Eventually they want to forge defense ties between Turkey-Pakistan-Saudia.

You can now imagine what that means logistically as Turkey is working on KAAN, ANKA, Kizilelma and Pakistan is working on getting the J-35 as well as wanting to turn PFX into a single engine stealth platform if funding can be sought. Win win for all if it becomes real.

The primary goal of the Saudis is to supply their customers with oil. They derive all their wealth from that. India is 3rd largest customer of petroleum (at some point they move to 2nd). No amount of tactical dealings with Pakistan changes that.
