The break left more than five feet of standing water in some areas, but crews have been on site since Monday morning as they work to expedite water removal from the area. City officials said this was the worst water main break they had ever seen.

Seen the first tracks of any critter since Tuesday.

Poor thing. Can tell it was searching for a warm place.

Been through this before.

High up in the mountains of West Virginia, would find dead birds up against my front door every morning desperate for warmth overnight.

LOL!

Looking ahead, forecast highs beginning in May, in the low 90Fs.

In a few days, highs near 70F.

Oklahoma. Two weeks of spring, two weeks of fall. Otherwise, too hot or too cold.

You are either going to thrive, or suffer.

That's a beautiful image! Tomorrow, will be able to turn the water back on. Take a long hot shower!

Most folks around here are plumb worn out. We can take the heat, the cold is what sucks the energy out of you.

Twenty five years ago, up in Michigan, was nothing walking barefoot, in shorts, in the snow well below freezing to get the mail.

16F right now. Just getting acclimated to the cold. Tomorrow, in the 60s. In 90 days, in the 90s.

Been here in Oklahoma long enough to know, a harsh winter a long hot summer will follow.
