Despite the rich equipment and technical content from the world’s leading suppliers of parts, including Bosch and BorgWarner, the car did not become popular among Russians. The cost of the GS5 is 2.2 million rubles, it was withdrawn from the Russian market at the end of spring. In China, the GAC GS5 has been produced since 2017.
Its equipment includes leather interior trim, climate control and LED optics.
Currently, there are three models in the GAC model range in our country. After the departure of the GS5 from the Russian market, a more modern compact crossover GS3 appeared, aimed at a younger audience. But it is no longer tied to a classic automatic transmission; the GS3 is equipped with a robotic transmission.

Chinese automaker Changan has lost three crossovers at once in 2024: CS35 Plus, CS55 and CS75 FL are withdrawn from the scene.
The first of them has been on sale in Russia since mid-2019. The front-wheel drive vehicle was equipped with a naturally aspirated gasoline engine with a capacity of 117 horsepower and two types of transmission to choose from: a 6-speed manual and a classic-design automatic transmission with a torque converter. The cost at the time of withdrawal from the market is from 2 to 2.2 million rubles.
Changan CS55 crossover with a 143 hp turbo engine. It was also introduced in Russia in 2019 and has been produced in China since 2019. The SUV is the size of a Volkswagen Tiguan (even the size of the wheelbase is the same) and was distinguished by a strict interior design and a media system with an 8-inch screen as standard. The chassis of this car has an independent rear suspension and only front-wheel drive.
The Changan CS75 FL is also retired in 2024.
Equipped with a 1.8-liter engine producing 150 horsepower, this car can be purchased with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.
Three Changan crossovers in Russia were replaced by updated versions. The new CS35 Plus received a more modern design and replaced the units. Now it has a 1.4-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 150 hp, paired with a 7-speed robot. The price in our market is 2.3 million rubles.

The current CS55 Plus can be purchased for at least 2.6 million rubles, excluding discounts when applying for a loan and trading in an old car. The set of units is similar: a 1.5 turbo engine with 181 horsepower and a 7-speed robot.
Changan CS75 Plus received a new look in the style of the Japanese Lexus, but remained without all-wheel drive. In Russia, this car has a 1.5 turbo engine with 167 hp. and a Japanese Aisin gearbox can be purchased for at least 2.9 million rubles.
Haval H9
On the eve of the start of sales of the new generation Haval H9 chassis SUV, the previous car was removed from sale. One of the current leaders of the Russian market got rid of the diesel modification of the H9 in the winter and there is no gasoline model on the website anymore.
