The presence of the company in Saudi Arabia comes within the framework of developing the environmental system of advanced conductors that work to innovate on a global scale. Infinilink has also joined the NSH National Center in the Kingdom, a platform aimed at supporting and developing the semiconductor industry locally.

8 months ago, 50 ambitious engineers began a journey with @ChipXPRT at the National Semiconductor Hub (NSH) — united by a vision for the Kingdom.Today, they’ve mastered Microarchitecture, written synthesis-aware RTL, built RISC-V SoCs, verified at CPU/IP/SoC levels, and are now working on Physical Design for chips headed to TSMC tapeout. It’s more than chips, it’s capability, confidence, and community. This program lays the foundation of Saudi Arabia’s semiconductor ecosystem, aligned with Vision 2030. These engineers are future leaders, ready to power 50 new NSH-backed companies and departments across the region.

The first training program has been completed by ChipXPRT, where trained engineers are designing a microprocessor and a microcontroller using 180nm technology, with a tapeout target of May 15th

The SI-Vision Academy, is currently implementing the second training program, scheduled for completion in August 2025, where the trainees work to design four analog and digital IP circles using two 32 nm and 14 nm technologies.

SI-WARE Systems, which specializes in MEMS technologies and semi-conductors, has announced the establishment of a new center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after obtaining a Relocate grant from the National Program for the Development of the Semiconductor Sector (NTDP).

Si-Ware is one of the world's leading companies in developing spectrum technologies, as it created the smallest universal MEMS MAMS in the world. Its entry into the Saudi market comes within the Kingdom's industrial expansion strategy in the semiconductor sector, and within efforts to build a local design system (Fabless) with global competitive capabilities.

The new headquarters of the company is located within the National Center for Sections (NSH), and aims to enhance cooperation in developing advanced technologies that include spectral sensors and farm technologies, with a special focus on industrial applications in areas such as energy and cars.

This expansion represents a qualitative addition to the Deep-Tech system in Saudi Arabia, and a new step towards consolidating the Kingdom's position as a regional center for accurate industries and innovation.

We would like to congratulate Pearl Semiconductor on being awarded the Relocate Grant by NTDP to establish operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Pearl Semiconductor is known for its cutting-edge analog and mixed-signal technologies, and their expansion into the Kingdom marks another milestone in the rapid evolution of Saudi Arabia’s semiconductor industry.
With over 30 companies now actively shaping the fabless landscape and that number growing fast, Pearl Semiconductor’s entry strengthens this momentum.

We look forward to supporting Pearl Semiconductor as they become part of a dynamic, collaborative community of innovators driving the next generation of semiconductor design and development from within the National Semiconductor Hub (NSH)

Saudi Arabia to help develop ‘next-generation’ stealth fighter

Japan, Britain and Italy are almost ready to bring Saud Arabia on board in the development of a next-generation fighter aircraft, Japanese government officials told The Asahi Shimbun on May 2.

The move is part of a multinational initiative dubbed the Global Combat Air Program (GCAP) to jointly develop a sixth-generation stealth fighter.

Saudi Arabia would be a “partner country” in the project.

Saudi Arabia has been seeking formal participation under the GIGO treaty, an intergovernmental organization that manages the development of fighter jets.

The three countries decided at the end of 2022 to jointly develop the next generation fighter aircraft. Soon afterward, Saudi Arabia said it wanted in.

Both Britain and Italy are eager to tap Saudi Arabia’s oil-based financial resources, but Japan is concerned about development delays if another negotiating partner is added, as well as maintaining security secrecy, citing arms transactions involving Saudi Arabia, China and Russia.

In talks held in mid-April, Riyadh did not insist on early participation as a formal member.

As Tokyo does not expect Saudi Arabia to be directly involved in project development, it wants to limit Riyadh’s cooperation to financial and other aspects.

Even so, Japan, along with Britain and Italy, are working toward formal participation by Saudi Arabia under the treaty, but on condition that Saudi Arabia demonstrates beefed up technical capabilities and information security measures.

When will these guys learn to only participate only when you are involved in building the tech and your own industrial base can grow, so you could build these projects internally in the future?

Riyadh should be an active member of the project with a few hundred engineers working on daily tasks on the project so that they can gain knowledge, expertise and capability to build a project themselves later.

KSA is aiming to be an active member, UK and Italy were first to accept this and now Japan has expressed its accord..

Hungarian Defense Minister: We intend with Saudi Arabia to establish a partnership for defense development and mutual investment

According to the Hungarian Minister, the prospects for cooperation lies in cooperation and innovation in defense industries, stressing that Saudi Arabia has become through the Military Industries Company a power in the field of modern defense manufacturing and technological development, and Hungary shares this trend.

He added that Saudi Arabia is not just an influential regional power, but rather has played a growing role at the global level, pointing out that "Vision 2030" is not just an ambitious plan, but a program that is clearly implemented, committed and with concrete results.

In light of the accelerated defense scene, the development posed by unmanned systems, the platforms equipped with artificial intelligence, advanced sensors, and hybrid war, stressed that cooperation between similar countries in visions and technological aspirations is extremely important.

My research says UK and Italy accepted KSA in a while ago. However, Japan was concerned about "technology leakage" to Russia and China through KSA (how shameful is this). It was also Japan who insisted KSA not join the project. And later, accepted ONLY on the condition of KSA sitting on the sidelines, and only come in when the technology is build out. Be a part of the end products testing and buy as many as they want to. Yet, have nothing to do with technology transfer and build process. Similar to how they buy F-15's right now. US does all the work and invites KSA pilots when jets are ready. They participate in flight test and training and then take it home.

Middle Eastern countries need to break away from this habit of being the end users when they pay for the products. Its dumb to say the least. If I had that much money, I would start these projects internally so as a country, MY people get the technology expertise so I can further my own internal projects. Similar to what Turkey is doing.
