250 kw generators will help KAAN to generate electricity to power the powerful AESA Radar
( 40 kw Aselsan BURFIS with 2.000+ GaN T/R modules )
Also KAAN will be equipped with Aselsan YILDIRIM-300 DIRCM directed-energy weapon as a laser CIWS........... DIRCM capability is belong to 6th gen
KAAN will have all around optic sensors called BEOS which we'll often hear names and fusion processors that combine all data for pilot. Imagine aircraft with 5 E/O sensors. Such optic awareness will maybe be available in aircrafts of 6th gen.
BEOS is just one of KAAN's sharp eye ......Tr_TechView attachment 40181
I think the Su-57 has DIRCM. Not necessarily 6th gen. But still a feature that the F-35 and F-22 lack.
Genuienly asking what advantages do DIRCM even have, like not being dragged into a WVR scenario is the whole point of a 5th gen platform
Saudi and UAE have better chance to be KF21 operators than TFX/ Khan if we see recent developmentYes for sure, the KF-21‘s radar has a range of only 18km!
I love the new industry terms “Data to decision” -Yes for sure, the KF-21‘s radar has a range of only 18km!
