TF-X / KAAN / Hürjet Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircrafts News & Discussions

Don't you think Temel Kotil is going a bit too far?

Being too ambitious is good, but being modest is better.

He gives a message to arrogant Germans

Germany is blocking sale of Eurofighter to Turkiye
even Eurofighter technology is nothing to do with Germany

sooner or later KAAN will be enter service with even indigenous TF-35.000 turbofan Engine

Our so-called NATO ally Germans have been condescending and hostile towards Turkiye for years and arrogant and hostile attitudes of the Germans will become history

as like USA blocked sale of UCAVs to Turkiye and Turkiye was became Drone super power in the world with TB-2/3 , ANKA-S , AKSUNGUR , AKINCI , KIZILELMA and ANKA-3

Turkiye becomes one of 5 Countries in the world with advanced aviation industry
and Germany is not among these 5 countries

Comparison of generator powers of some Fighter Jets

▪︎ KAAN: 2x125Kw .... 250 kw (developed by Turkish company VOLT )

▪︎ F35:3x80Kw .... 240 kw

▪︎ F22: 2x65Kw ... 130 kw

▪︎ KF-21: 2x65Kw .. 130 kw ... (Collins aerospace from USA)

250 kw generators will help KAAN to generate electricity to power the powerful AESA Radar
( 40 kw Aselsan BURFIS with 2.000+ GaN T/R modules )

Also KAAN will be equipped with Aselsan YILDIRIM-300 DIRCM directed-energy weapon as a laser CIWS........... DIRCM capability is belong to 6th gen

KAAN will have all around optic sensors called BEOS which we'll often hear names and fusion processors that combine all data for pilot. Imagine aircraft with 5 E/O sensors. Such optic awareness will maybe be available in Fighter Jets of 6th gen.

BEOS is just one of KAAN's sharp eye ......Tr_Tech1715638115045.jpeg

I think the Su-57 has DIRCM. Not necessarily 6th gen. But still a feature that the F-35 and F-22 lack.

I think the Su-57 has DIRCM. Not necessarily 6th gen. But still a feature that the F-35 and F-22 lack.

SU-57 has DIRCM and KAAN will have DIRCM too
F-22 , F-35 , J-20 , J-31 , KF-21 lack DIRCM

SU-57 , F-22 , J-20 , J-31 , KF-21 lack HMDS
Only KAAN and F-35 have HMDS

SU-57 , F-22 , F-35 , J-20 , J-31 , KF-21 lack full data-to-decision (D2D) capability

KAAN will have full data-to-decision (D2D) capability for multi-layered distributed team of diverse manned aircraft working in concert with unmanned types ( KAAN , ANKA-3, KIZILELMA )

High-capacity networking , AI, data fusion , DIRCM and full data-to-decision (D2D) capabilities are belong to 6th gen

And KAAN will have all of these technologies

HURJET next gen Jet Trainer and light Attack Aircraft

HURJET will be very lethal platform with MURAD AESA Radar and advanced weapons like GOKDOGAN - GOKHAN BVR air to air Missiles , CAKIR - KUZGUN-TJ cruise Missiles (land attack/anti-ship) and AKBABA anti-radiation Missile

KAAN Test Pilot Gökhan Bayramoğlu

🔸We are pursuing an Aircraft that can dominate the entire air . Our aim is to introduce a new concept. .... Actually, there is no Fighter Jet with which we can compare it.

🔸 We always say that this will be a weapon, not a Fighter Jet
We will be able to use this weapon as a command and control center. This is the point we want to reach

4 KAAN wll control 5 teams with 23 F-16V , KIZILELMA and ANKA-3 at the same time

Hostile Forces can not match with this tactical air combat doctrine

Boeing E-7T AEWC and HAVASOJ stand off Jammer Aircraft will help KAAN Fighter Jets

And KAAN Fighter Jets will control also ground based SIPER Block2 Air Defense Systems and TF-2000 class airwarfare Destroyers via data links for network centric warfare and cooperative engagement capabilities to block Turkish EEZ in the Eastern Mediterranean

-- Land-air-naval AESA Radars ( ERALP , E7-T AEWC , APG-83 , MURAD , BURFIS and CAFRAD )
-- Advanced Missiles ( 100+ km GOKDOGAN , 160 km AIM-120C8 , 200 km GOKHAN and 150-250 km SIPER Block-2 )
-- Data-Links ( Link-16 , JREAP and KEMENT )
-- Platforms ( KAAN , F-16V , KIZILELMA , ANKA-3 , E7-T , HAVASOJ , SIPER B2 , TF-2000 )

Manned and unmanned Fighter Jets , AEWC , Airborne stand off jammer Aircraft , Air Defense Systems and TF-2000 Destroyers togetger will work in perfect coordination to dominate the entire air space against hostile Air Forces in the Eastern Mediterranean

Genuienly asking what advantages do DIRCM even have, like not being dragged into a WVR scenario is the whole point of a 5th gen platform

Its not necessarily just air to air WVR missiles, there are SAM threats from MANPADS and other SAM systems that have Infrared homing.

What this accounts for is more complex seekers on missiles that use hybrid sensors. Like for example David's Sling using infrared homing for terminal guidance in addition to conventional guidance via radar detection.

Yes for sure, the KF-21‘s radar has a range of only 18km! 🤡 :ROFLMAO:😝
Saudi and UAE have better chance to be KF21 operators than TFX/ Khan if we see recent development

I love the new industry terms “Data to decision” -

Maybe if it’s got GPT-4 it will say “In the exciting world of the radar I see a new target, let’s delve into analyzing it”
