The domestic engine project has nothing to do with the F-35s; it has been a known fact since the very beginning of the project that the first KAAN jets will be delivered with American engines

The TF-35,000 indigenous engine project is progressing very well
the first ignition will take place this year, and it will start flying the KAAN in 2032, with mass production beginning around 2035.
