The domestic engine project has nothing to do with the F-35s
it has been a known fact since the very beginning of the project that the first KAAN jets will be delivered with American engines

The TF-35,000 indigenous engine project is progressing very well
the first ignition will take place in 2027 and it will start flying the KAAN with mass production beginning in 2032-2035 period

Handing over S400 will affect balance in the region we are not talking about Russian tanks being sold off here? It is also still unclear whether Russia will agree to the transfer of this system or not that’s because in many Russian arms export contracts transferring military equipment to a 3rd country won’t happen without Moscows consent more over if this equipment is sold to. Arab country UAE OR QATAR it supposedly be used against the Islamic Republic of Iran . And here Russia will have to choose whether it will side with Arab countries again or back Iran?

The most logical answer would have been to re-sell to Egypt, but given their alliances they are partaking in with Greece, that could be off the table?

Cairo has bought Chinese HQ9 batteries. I doubt Israeli would let S400 be installed near them. Isn’t HQ-9B rumoured to be based on s400?
Greece has s300s and USA doesn’t seem to care.
Probably ask Russia to buy it back or find a buyer that they are fine with:

Reselling back to Russia who may reuse in Ukraine will be a problem for the west, and it wouldn't be overly friendly of Turkiye to see it to India in light of the Makkah defence pact.

It’s only a temporary solution sounds crazy I know it might work. S400 was to moved to Somalia. Turkey is building base Red Sea.

We don't know what happened with the UAE deal. But what was communicated to Turkey was that even if Trump wanted to transfer it, the law passed demands that the S-400 leave Turkey before any transfer of the F-35, and that dismantling it would not be enough to get past it. With the emergence of SIPER, the S-400 is not largely relevant, as by the time SIPER-2 and SIPER-A are ready, Turkey would have domestic capacity in a S-400 equivalent system. Its already there in most aspects of the air defense envelope like non ballistic missile intercepts. Enough so that Turkey feels confident in not needing the S-400 long term.

S400 saga itself is not about capability but Turkey falling into Russian sphere of influence and that required some sort of punishment.
Turkey getting rid of S400 means they regret going against American will.
