The domestic engine project has nothing to do with the F-35s
it has been a known fact since the very beginning of the project that the first KAAN jets will be delivered with American engines

The TF-35,000 indigenous engine project is progressing very well
the first ignition will take place in 2027 and it will start flying the KAAN with mass production beginning in 2032-2035 period
