So, what should Iran being doing now instead ?

Iran should be refusing to agree to any deal until AFTER the mid terms. Let oil truly rise. Right now the reserve still has about 8 weeks of buffer in it before US truly feels the heat and be forced to offer concession. By waiting to mid terms you make Trump VERY desperate for a deal and you ensure Republicans to get swept out and lose badly for backing Trump and this war.

Iran 45 years ago had this basic knowledge when it refused to negotiate with Carter and waited for Reagan and ended Carters political career.

Keep in mind Carter actually did a land operation attempt to get Iranian leverage (the hostages). Trump has yet to even pull a Carter and try to truly get the Iranian leverage (Kharg and Uranium inside Isfahan).

Iran should draw a redline at the U.S. naval blockade. The biggest blunder was the de facto accepting of US naval blockade which is act of war in itself. Iran was too SCARED to challenge this blockade.

The strait is NOT closed and its LEAKY. If the naval blockade stays on Iran then Iran will target the UAE pipeline and the Saudi Arabian pipeline, because those countries are still selling oil to the world while Iran cannot.

And if the West doesn’t remove the blockade or at least turn a blind eye to some oil going thru then Iran will continue attacking US bases in the region.

What is U.S. going to do in this situation? Attack Iranian energy sites? That would be the end of Arab oil facilities as Yemen, Iraq, and Iran light fire to their entire infrastructure.

what outcomes can Iran achieve with what you think the strategy should be?

Iran can gain de facto control of the strait. And a TRUE removal of sanctions via a TREATY rather than some fake EOs that can be reversed on a dime. And by keeping FULL control of the strait, Iran will have a card it can wield to punish the U.S. if it backtracks.

This was an existential war for Iran and it’s treaty it as if it’s a Pakistan-India border skirmish.

Any person with a functioning brain knows that Iran must produce nuclear weapons to survive. The current situation is unbearable and will one way or another lead to Iran's unconditional surrender in the long run, which is exactly what Trump has been planning for.

There's no such thing as a "haram" weapon in Islam. Any person that says so is completely retarded. If anything, Islam has obligated Muslims to pursue the strongest means of defending themselves militarily.

That's what I told you before the war. Unfortunately, Iran will not become a Euro-trash society in the sense that it will be at least relatively prosperous with a strong currency and a strong passport while sucking up to the world powers. Iran will turn into a failed state Euro-trash country soon. At best, we will be another failed state like Belarus or post-war Ukraine, but I think we're heading towards even worse, like Syria, Venezuela, Cuba, etc.

Iran’s strategy was never a direct war with Israel it was a suffocation strategy. The goal was to build a ring of fire around Israel until Israel implodes from its social demographic issues and America loses its superpower status under its massive debt burden and a rising China. It was a game of patience.

The ring of fire compromised of Hezbollah, Hamas, Assad, Iraq, Yemen and as a future project Jordan.

However, Israel got a gift from Hamas who went suicidal and destroyed themselves in Oct 2023. Assad couldn’t reunify the country and neither Russia nor Iran had tens of billions of dollars to prop him up under brutal Western sanctions, so Syria fell under economy collapse same way Venezuela did. The military and officials turned on their leader and stopped fighting.

Right then and there the ring of strategy fell apart as Israel poked a hole in two fronts and went on the counter offensive. The rest is history and doesn’t need explaining.

But Iran at one point was patrolling the Golan heights and the Lebanon/Israel border. So it’s impressive a country that nearly 1800KM away was able to patrol Israel’s borders. Can Saudi Arabia say that? Can Qatar say that? Can Turkey say that? Can Pakistan say that? No. Not even Saddam (the strongest Arab leader in recent history) could say that.



Neither Pakistan or Turkey would attack, both have serious issues in being in a sustained war. U.S. prevented an LNG tanker from going to Pakistan. What did Pakistan do about it? Nothing.

Do we really think Pakistan is going to war with Israel when it has to borrow money from IMF and Arab countries just to survive? Do we think Erodgan of Turkey is going to go to war with Israel when the Turkish Lira has lost 99% of its value against the dollar? When they have had to sell tons of gold on open market to keep the economy alive?

Neither Turkey nor Pakistan has the war chest or energy independence for such a move.

You can point to your fighter jets and your missiles and your fancy weaponary, but none of that matters if you don’t have money and energy to feed your war machine. War runs on molecules and gold, not weapons. Before the war, Putin had amassed a war chest of nearly 500B dollars. Russia can feed its war machine with its own oil and natural gas. That is why Russia is able to fight indefinitely.

Pakistan and Turkey have neither of these. And in case of Iran it may have the energy independence to supply its war machine, but lacks the needed war chest for a sustained conflict.

It will take decades for America to position enough resources in region to contain Pakistan and still Pakistan has the option to take down everything in case its existence is threatened.

When Pakistan tested nukes, US sanctioned us severely but Saudi Arabia was there to support us.Pakistan was already under multiple sanctions from the beginning of 1990s like no more loans from IMF/World Bank, Trade credits gone, No more American weapons, Pakistan not only survived but still declared itself a Nuclear Power instead of surrendering nukes.

If Pakistan can go to this length just for the sake of declaring its Nuclear Status, Pakistan can go to any length for protecting its very existence .

Having them and using them I guess are two different things I would advocate all Middle East nations capable of developing them to develop them Saudi Arabia turkey Iran and Egypt….shhuusssh I definitely wouldn’t trust UAE with it but if these countries have it or a couple of them watch how fast the world will try to impose a nuclear free Middle East including Israel with round the clock check no one tries to bring them back.

I highly doubt if Iran did go nuclear America would attempt to stage an invasion to stop them nor would they attempt to destroy Iran ever again Trump is almost out of here and whatever comes next after him inshallah will be far saner
