Diego Garcia airport is c. 3900km from south Iran (just north of Chabahar). a large number of B-2 bomber aircraft can be seen parked at the airport in recent satellite images, with US officials saying this military build up is linked to Trump's threats against iran.

Shahed-136B has claimed range of 4000km.

other drones / ballistic missiles can also be launched from forward base ships (Shahid Mahdavi, Shahid Roudaki, Shahid Bagheri) if they get closer to Diego Garcia, but that is easier to see in advance

what air defences does Diego Garcia have? from quick search, cannot find any.

Iran should keep rotating their subs to be out to sea, I think the Kilos have SLCMs. They can also act as an attack platform.

that's true and a good point. Kilo only has torpedo tubes but Iran has designed an 'adaptor' that can fire cruise missiles from the torpedo tubes. I don't think Iran showed LACM with sufficient range from the torpedo tubes since there are significant size limitations

The Shaheen 3 if Pakistan has a range of 3750km, which covers all of India

That range is probably the "official" range of the missile and it most likely can go a little further

Pakistan has been attempting to obtain various equipment including testing equipment in order to make our rocket motors/engines more efficient thus pushing the range further

As soon as our missile arsenal became more varied and we attempted to increase the range, the U.S has jumped into action and has levied multiple sanctions against Pakistan to try and limit our missile ranges

They THINK AHEAD, so in their machinations if ever in future their is war and Pakistan is involved they don't want our missiles to be able to reach Diego Garcia

That is a nuclear missile so accuracy is likely terrible and not important. for this strike accuracy of < 20m CEP is needed which is almost impossible for a 4000km range missile

Trumpy if he attacks will be on the basis that Irans retaliation will be weak and does minimal damage. This is because Iran allowed the escalation ladder to get out of control and does not have a deterring point any longer. So Iran if its attacked needs to strike back with massive force otherwise it will be open to continuous strikes.

Massive force could lead to war. But ask yourself do you want to be ground out with constant attacks on your country with impunity or attack ferociously so the enemy pauses to think and back off from all out war.

Trumpy with his throwing allies under the bus wont have allot of international support with igniting a regional war his own maga followers may turn on him too. So he will know a war is not a good outcome no matter how big he might talk right now.

Irans trump cards are its missile forces and nuclear program, trumpy is coming for both so I would hope Iran has a credible plan to deal with this facist.
