Breaking: Ex-ISI chief Faiz Hamid taken into custody by military: ISPR

Faiz and IK's bootlicking of the Taliban have once again made it an existential threat to Pakistan.
Pakistan’s military and spy agencies creating and abetting Taliban wasn’t an existential threat in the 90s?

It’s was a hedge that got out of hand and was poorly managed when it came to its final and inevitable conclusion.

Now the Indians come back to that exact moment, vis a vi Faiz Hamid arrest, and think it’s their moment to gloat, like it will make up for the fall of all the friendly regimes around them in the past 3 years.

So Pakistan’s military and spy agencies were ultimately responsible for that policy disaster - which culminated in 9/11 terror attacks and the subsequent “war on terror” - all leading to Pakistan Taliban insurgency 🙄

Unlike Bangladesh where Hasina had a place to run to, the doors will be closed for these lot. They are a liability and the people hate them.

I will call it by its name. This is no doubt a war against certain ethnic groups. Two nasty political parties from Punjab and Sindh and their cheerleader generals are waging a war against certain peoples.

We had BD. These people are now yearning for more.
