"Rouge Elements" = Those who dare to defy / resist / not accept military establishment's "plans" for the country...Even the less rogue elements of PTI can actually be welcomed back into such a system quite easily.

In that case — what "pro terrorist" party is ruling in Balochistan that they (military establishment) are unable to defeat terrorism there for decades?Meanwhile Pakistan allow terrorist infested province KPK to be ruled by pro terrorists party for 13 years and then wonder why terrorism isn't ending.
"Re-education camps" = brainwash people into accepting military establishment rule in PakistanBecome a hard state. Democracy isn't a solution to KPK/Balochistan insurgency, re education camps are.
We already have that in Pakistan for decades. It's called "single party" autocratic rule of military establishment...We need single party autocratic rule
If FORCEFUL military DANDA was the "solution" to every problem — Pakistan would've become Asian Tiger by now.And force the country forward

You are just exposing your ignorance. Is it PTI or military's job to fight against the terrorists — especially if they arrive from another country (Afghanistan) illegally?
I have never heard you questioning PPP's corruption like this which has been ruling Sindh continuously since 2008 (18 years so far)...
These narcotics come from across the border. Who is in charge of protecting the country's external borders? Is it PTI?
This is actually job of the federal govt to deal with Afghan refugees in Pakistan as it is related to a foreign country (Afghanistan) which falls under Islamabad's domain — NOT Peshawar's.![]()
Do you also suffer from SELECTIVE amnesia? Why terrorists are unable to penetrate into Punjab?
Shahbaz wanted to cut deal with TTP as long they didn't conduct operations in Punjab: report
Letters written to Osama bin Laden show government's willingness to negotiate with TTP through Al Qaeda.

Was it really "democracy" in Pakistan that made military establishment of the 1980s to take Islamist "Afghan Jihad" route to counter Soviets in Afghanistan? To not become islamist...

No, we have had a hybrid system
At the base level the ethnocentric parties have had full impunity to create CHAOS
we need to decimate the sardars, the chiefs, the waderas
All ethnocentric extremists need a boot on their neck permanently and the enemies of Pakistan to be just brutalised
And that starts with the afghans and BLA Baloch types
But we have 10,000s of FC, army, agencies on the borders, our security forces are doing 1000s of operations in KPK and Balochistan but terrorism is still not decreasing. The army says terrorists cross the border, attack and leave. That is the job of the army and FC, agencies. You are just exposing your ignorance.
Provincial government is the first defense line. It's responsible for enforcing the writ of the state (and it has a lot of resources at its disposal and gets a lot of additional money from federal government) in the province.
Why terrorists are unable to penetrate into Punjab?
A provincial government calls military in case it is unable to deal with terrorists.
PTI's provincial government did nothing to save the life and property of people of KPK. Rather, quite opposite, it appeared to be in collusion with terrorists and smugglers.
okI didnt say act for act
We need single party autocratic rule and completely take out any popular vote
Pakistan is simply too jahil and ethnocentric for that
Not only in this thread but in much of PDF is missing that what's happening in Pakistan under the Hybrid+ system is a quasi-democratic setup: Imran's party given the power in KPK, a powerful Bugti clan given power in Baluchistan, the Sindhi Bhutto given power in Sindh, and the Sharif clan given power in Punjab. Everything points toward 'perform or perish'. After the 18th Const. Amendment, the provinces have been flushed with cash to the point that they recently contributed to the Federal expenses voluntarily.
The arrangement we see in Pakistan is very, very democratic in nature: Leave the security matters to the military and do your civil duties and we would leave you alone. All parties and ethnic groups, with the exception of the Idiot Khan clan are following that. Punjab excels in performance, Sindh is on prodded to perform, Baluchistan is trying hard. Only it is the Idiot Khan and his 'political party' who are too dumb to avail the political space given to them. As the saying goes: 'When you elect a clown, expect a circus'. Happening in America too these days. Imran is Pakistan's Mini Trump except even Trump is smarter.
