First specs of Turkish AC project

it's pretty shameful if you can make nuclear weapons but not a simple pressurized water reactor.
Interestingly, nuclear bombs were developed before "simple pressurized water reactor". So.......

And India does make "simple pressurized water reactor" used in its subs..

I think it's too early for the Turkish navy to have an aircraft carrier. We don't have the aircraft to put on an aircraft carrier. We only have TB3 and Kizilelma. There is no way Kaan can land on an aircraft carrier. There are no Tf-2000 air destroyers to protect the carrier.

Turkish Navy will get this Aircraft Carrier in 2035-2040 period
not in 2020s

So until 2035 , We will have everything to protect Aircraft Carrier including 4TF-2000 class Destroyers , 8 ISTIF class Frigates and 6 Type-214TN class AIP Submarines

even many more ...

KIZILELMA-C . ANKA-3 and ANKA-4 stealth Fighter Jets can be used on Aircraft Carrier

for example KIZILELMA-C is not a Drone
It will be 16 m unmanned stealth Fighter Jet with 2x TF-10.000 turbofan Engines

KIZILELMA has same advanced characteristics as 5th-generation Fighters

-- High situational awareness with IRST , EOTS and AESA Radar
-- Stealth design featuring a low radar signature
-- Internal weapon bay for stealth flight capability
-- Smart fleet autonomy equipped with artificial intelligence
-- Air to Air Missiles , Guided Munitions , Cruise Missiles

ANKA-3 will be lethal platform for deep strike capability
as well as ANKA-4 will be developed for air combat role

In 20 years, we may think of an aircraft carrier, but such statements now call into question the seriousness of the Turkish defense industry.

Nobody has better info than Our Presidency of Defense Industry and Generals/Admirals
They very well knows that what they doing

Commander of the Naval Forces
President of Defense Industry

Chairman of BAYKARTECH

The project should be started now that it can be combat ready in 10-15 years
Unmanned aerial platforms will be developed specifically for this project

Btw Turkiye has enough money with over $1 trillion of GDP
and Turkiye increase its defense budget from $16 billion to $38 billion for 2024

in the next 10-15 years Turkiye will have over $2 triillion of GDP
Some users wrote ridiculous things about money

Turkiye has enough money to build 4 ISTIF class Frigates , 2 HISAR class OPVs , 3 REIS class Submarines , 2 Logistic Support Ships at the same time to be in service in 2023-2027 period

also modernization of 4 MEKO-200 Frigates

FAC project is delayed due to design expectations, not due to financial problems.
and We focused on OPV which is more expensive than FAC project

IMHO STOBAR = Garbage ...simple as

It can go down in a single torpedo salvo and take 40-50 planes with it along with 500 people on board. And what capability does it bring? planes taking off with limited fuel and payload, barely good enough for CAP missions.

India should invest into the well being of their own people.

So should Pakistan but at least I can understand Pakistan's concerns, they have borders with Afghanistan, a lawless hellhole and India a much bigger country with historic animosity.

What is India afraid of? China? China won't even attack Taiwan.

KSA hates us, UAE isn't interested in an AC (do they even have enough sailors to crew one?) and Malaysia has half the GDP of Turkey.

All of our customers are relatively poor countries.
You do understand that we are not talking about the Turkish Navy but the Indian Navy right? and since you have just started to think about procuring Aircraft carriers, let me remind you that We have been operating aircraft carriers since the 1960s and have a sufficient number of ships to protect our centerpiece. Our 4th carrier will be CATOBAR. Our STOBAR carriers carry twin-engine deck-based fighters for the very same reason.

When you get time, I know you don't give a damn; however, our defense budget is just less than 2%, which shows we are not at all desperate to expand like crazy and are steadily increasing our budget as per our needs. so yes we do invest in the well-being of our people, you just need to search a little better.

All our Wars with Pakistan were reactionary, and let me remind you that this is what happens when you dig a hole for others and fall into it, their animosity with Afghanistan is their own doing and India has nothing to do with it.

You need a lot of learning about the history, Geopolitics, geostrategic, and of course politics of South Asian countries.

China and Pakistan are allies, they both have nuclear weapons and both have border disputes with India and both are actively engaged in undermining Indian interests all around the globe, please learn at least one of the above and I shall be able to convince you why India needs a huge army.

Not interested at all in your sales profile, sell it to poor countries or give it for free, that is your call.

What I can see is Erdogan is following sovereign foreign policy which can only get better in both ways
Did it?

We just bent the knee to the Americans, allowing Sweden into NATO.

"sovereign" to you and me is just "unreliable" for NATO and everyone else.

It's off-topic and ruining the thread i.e. stuff to do with India. If it isn't to do with Turkey then the posts go.
India was an analogy for Turkey, just like Russia Ukraine conflict was an example for the point I was making. Please don't **** with my posts in the future. Thank you.

It was going off-topic, with nearly half a dozen posts droning about India.
Also if you continue to use disgusting language like that no one will pay any attention to your posts.

Respect goes both ways waz. This is akin to Holding a man's mouth when he's trying to speak. Don't interrupt me when I speak and I will be respectful back to you.

I can talk the language of an Oxford debate or I can talk as if I'm talking to a crackhead. It's up to you how this place is treated

I've done nothing but treated you with respect, also it wasn't myself who deleted your posts, however there was nothing wrong with it.
No one interrupted and the other posts from other users were taken away, so all were gagged if you term it that.
All I'm making perfectly clear to you is talk with respect. The whole "talking to a crackhead" I've dealt with numerous times before over the years and quite effectively as well. So that doesn't bother me much.
The only part you have right is the whole stuff about how it is up to me on how this place is treated, what I'd say is refer to the above I wrote to you. I've stuck up for you plenty of times (people warned me against this) and this is what I get in return.
If people want to treat the place like dirt then they'll be gone.

Because , Turkiye becomes global power again in the next 10-15 years

with over $2 trillion of GDP
with its own defense industry full of self sufficiency
with military Bases in Qatar , Somalia , Libya , etc

If Turkey is building naval bases in Somalia, this is something The Pakistani Navy should look to join as well. Considering the location of Indian bases in the region, and India’s demonstrated hostility to Turkey (not saying Turkey isn’t hostile to India, but at present there are hostilities), and that dozens of Pakistani Soldiers have laid down their lives back in ‘92 to help restore some kind of stable government, the three countries should work together to build and man naval bases in Somalia. A Non-western, non-Chinese base that stays out of the new Cold War and focuses on the interests of the three nations.

Does it make sense to build AC without geographic ocean access, only for Mediterranean Sea?

Does it make sense to build AC without geographic ocean access, only for Mediterranean Sea?

Turkey's role is expanding around the Gulf of Aden, around somalia, where there is a space launch port to be built as well as a deal to help somalia secure its naval interests in exchange for oil and gas exploration in the Somali EEZ, of which 30% of the profits of oil and gas exploration apparently go to Turkey.
