Come on!!!. Sometimes you talk like Donald Trump.
So what´s next, TP 3 or dealing with the US?. You are talking as if Iran have been wrong during the last 40 years, and US and the west block were a kind of examplary goal for any civilized nation. Immortal, sorry for my post but the world is gray.
TP3 is irrelevant other than a pissing contest and maintaining the rules of game theory (which is important), but it won’t fix Iran’s problems. HZ played that game for months and then got decapitated. Syria stayed out of it, still got decapitated.
Yes, the world is gray, but you painted the US/Israel as black and everyone else as white or gray. It was hypocrisy at its finest.
The Shah wasn’t even planted by America. He was planted by UK. Mossadegh wasn’t overthrown by CIA, he was overthrown by a rogue MI5 agent who disobeyed orders to stand down.
Yet your entire foundation of your revolution was based on an entity that historically wasn’t even your ‘harshest’ rival. And if we are talking about the world being gray, then you should ask yourself why did we extend olive branches to historical enemies like Turkey, UK, France, Russia, Saudi Arabia, etc. but maintained the U.S. as the “devil”? Not very “grey” if you ask me.
The U.S. was not just the world’s military superpower it was the heartbeat of the world economy and global financial system and you decided before you could even walk let alone run [as a nation] that you wanted to challenge this beast on some BS morality quest. Meanwhile you watch numerous Muslims die in China and are silent as a mouse, but bleed over Palestine when they praise HTS for taking over Syria!
Like I said you lost the plot and now find yourself with few good options. I don’t know what the answer is quite frankly. None of them look particularly attractive.
If west path is closed go for the east way. Raesi seems that he understood and was eliminated.
1º.- Fix your Economy fighting inflation and economic isolation (use BRICS and neighboring trade; you can start with basics like wheat to Afghanistan, gas to Pakistan and pistacchio to India, for example).
First of all the East doesn’t want you. When they did [want you] you were playing both sides or hoping for western reintegration. So the East moved on and decided you could flip back to Western orbit in the next century so why waste capital on a country that could swing sides.
Now you are radioactive. A country that can offer only cheap oil to anyone willing to take the chance. Maybe some cement. Maybe some cars. Nothing game changing.
Also whar part of the world trades in the dollar do you not want to accept? You think India is going to risk sanctions for ****ing pistachios? When Pakistan wouldn’t risk it for critical energy needs?
Come on man, wake up to reality. “Fix the economy” is not some button you press and you become China or U.S. or even Germany.
BRICs is a joke, so many countries joining what is becoming a country club at this point. It hasn’t produced a SINGLE game changing economic initiative in its entire history. At this point, I’m waiting for North Korea to submit a request to join, that’s how laughable it has become. Also India and China being in the same economic bloc is a paradox.
All this hype about a ‘BRICS currency’ is laughable, I won’t even bother to get into, but if you are in the world of economics you can see why it is too difficult to implement if not near impossible.
2º.- Fix your Air Force. TP3 is not an option right now. IRI has no meaningful Air Force for deterrence the US Navy a third part of the USAF and Israel together. IADS + 4 dozens of Su35 will keep the flies away from the honeypot.
SU-35 when 6th gen platforms like what China showed off are less than 10 years away? You could have 100 SU-35’s and you won’t stop next gen weapons platform from making mince meat out for your IADS. Are you still using Windows XP to pilot your command and control centers? I’m sure the NSA is very grateful for that.
How is SU-35 going to fight off a platform that can go in and out space, supercruise at 20KM altitude, and unleash hypersonic cruise missiles at all your high value targets? It’s a stop gap that will be obsolete within a decade against your core enemies (US/Israel).
Where will you get this money from anyway? You cannot even keep your lights on at night. You cannot even modernize your electrical grid or oil industry. Hell you cannot even hit 4.5M bpd of oil like you did under Shah without Western oil tech. You need $500B-$1T investment over the next decade to even modernize your economy and catch up with other economic powers. Where you gonna get that from? This where the deep pockets of the international capital markets would have been useful.
Now you realize the costly price of your decisions. You thought blackmailing black gold (oil) would keep the west off your ass forever, well they modernized without you (shale oil) and the Arabs and Russians screwed you out of your market share (OPEC+).
You were so rah rah Revolutionary Zeal you forgot to study the tech of the future.
What’s Iran’s current AGI platform roadmap?
What’s Iran’s current Quantum processer?
How many qubits? How does Iran plan to solve the error correction problem?
What’s Iran’s current GPU production tense core count, memory bandwidth, and framework architecture?
Let me answer it for you: they don’t exist mate.
They don’t exist because while you blowing up Marine Barracks in Lebanon, bombing Israeli embassy in Argentina, the AIMA bombings, the Khobar Towers, etc while you went through your teenager rebellious phase, the world was moving forward with economic advancement and key technologies needed to succeed in the future.
By the time you moderated and decided to be more pragmatic, it was too late. You were blocked off, radioactive, and persona non grata. Nobody needs Iran. You have nothing to offer. Your oil can be found elsewhere. Your natural gas you consume it all yourself like an energy black hole. You are too poor to develop your massive energy reserves, and your nuclear program is a Schrödinger’s cat of ‘bomb or no bomb’.
3º.- Destroy Israel with protracted war. Israel is destroying the status quo in the Middle East, positioning military dictators around and splitting in parts their rivals.
But forget dealing with US because nobody wants a wealth and happy Iran. Specially Israel and because of them US also.
“Destroy Israel”
You are not destroying Zionists. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not in 100 years. Bigger fish than you have tried and failed (Hitler in WW2, Egyptian empire in antiquity). Israel is here to stay. If it does collapse it will be from within to socio-demographic forces (Israeli is rapidly Arab-izing and even the absurd birth rate of the Zionists cannot keep up with the birth rate of the Levant Arabs that simply out number them).
So making Israel’s destruction your top priority is what got you in this mess to begin with. Meanwhile the only countries that got destroyed during that time were Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen.
Although one point I can agree on is Iran had a window after 10/7 to go for a high stakes geopolitical move. To simultaneously attack Israel with Syrian groups, HZ, Hamas, and IRGC when the world support for Israel was at an all time role, but the goal wouldn’t be to “destroy Israel” but fight a “war for peace”. A war where Iran’s terms would be settled after the shadow war of the past decade and the Palestinians could have a statehood.
Two birds, one stone. It was what iran spent its entire time building up the AoR for. A biblical-esque battle for fate of Levant.
Instead you chickened out. Your revolutionary zeal of the 1980s to 2000’s was no longer around. You were so risk averse at this point, that when America told you to back off Israel you sat and made nothing more than repetitive rhetoric and fake red lines in magic marker.
The results are clear, Israel holds more land today than pre-10/7 in both Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. Hamas is obliterated. HZ is in the ICU and Syria is an Ottoman and Zionist groupie.
In the end, sometimes to become a true independent powerful state (both economically and militarily), you have to read the room and bide your time. Yet IR of iran came out of the gate throwing punches against powers that had centuries headstart in modern geopolitics.
You ****ed mate. The world economy doesn’t need Iran anymore. Should have been much more Machiavellian in your early days. You would have gained more with honey than vinegar in this ‘gray’ world.
