J-31 to be inducted soon| Pilot training reportedly in progress

Never said anything about flying. It's just a comparison.
Yes I know, it's just a comparison but hazrat @Zarvan insist J-31 is currently flying on some top secret place in China where nobody can able to take pictures of it

J-31 prototype has been flying at SAC, featuring an FC-31 style single-wheel nose gear.It appears that J-31 is finally coming out as a Land based J-35 with smaller, non-folding wings, thinner landing gears, reduced wing area and a single-wheel nose gear.

An evolutionary process of 15+years from FC-31 to J-31, passed through various stages. Private funded, lack of partners, modifications, tweeks, used as testbed for 5th generation cutting edge technologies its finally becoming a reality to see a fully operational squadron in the near future.

To be fain, so far we thought, there is indeed no J-31, but this recent image gives hint, there might be at least one now …
Which one exactly? There was always the in between prototype right?

Screenshot_20240527_063443_Weibo.jpgSome military bloggers in China believe that j31? It was not developed from the fc312.0 version, but based on the Navy's J-35, a land-based air force version was developed. Additionally, with the J-31? The pictures of it continue to flow out, indicating that someone took pictures of it last year and learned about some test flight information. It was not until permission was granted in the middle of this year that it was publicly released online

No, according to the latest two new images that‘s indeed maybe the first real J-31.
So what happened to the interim land based prototype? It seems like an iteration was shelved.
