Images taken on the production line of the curved air inlet design, which is the 5th generation feature of the National Combat Aircraft KAAN and prevents radar waves from reaching the engine, have emerged.

The images also include the location of the internal weapon station chamber in the fuselage.

iron bird stays there for forever until last changes made , it is a test platform for every load and physical upgrades

I guess we will see, the postings on twitter mentioned it as a 2nd prototype.

There is no official data regarding RCS of Kaan and Burfis AESA.

The data you presented here is too fantastic considering experience and technology level of Turkey.

KAAN has bigger nose than F-22 to carry 40kw monster Radar BURFIS

While HMDS, IRST and EOTS systems, which are not available in the F-22, stand out in KAAN.

The AESA radar field appears to be wider.

and KAAN has stealth design , advanced magnetic coating , RAM panel layer and internal weapon bay

it could RCS value for X band 10GHz as 0.003 m2 [ -25dbsqm ]

I am afraid you yourself don't know about it.

TF-X is still in development, plan to be introduced in year 2028, so you are comparing the fighter plane in development vs existing flying like F-35, SU-57, etc.

BURFIS is designed specifically for the F-16C/D Block 50/52+ fighter jets; it is still being in development, BURFIS's actual performance remains unproven in real-world scenarios. Specific details about its detection range, resolution, or other crucial performance metrics haven't been officially released. The picture you present is just a mock up.

Currently only US and China that are able to produce Gallium Nitride based AESA radar. The rest from other countries (France, Israel, British, Sweden, Japan, South Korea) are still in developments

Not far from the time frame TF-X introduced, there will be some 6th generation fighter introduced as well by US/China, and more advanced F-35/F-22/J-20 versions and J-35.

The powerplant for TF-X is GE F-110 not the best in the world.

AESA Radar and stealth capabilities are nothing to do with first flight
We very well know what about KAAN in technology

also KAAN is not on paper and Loading %99 for first flight

Turkiye is not İndonesia who can not develop even AESA Radar
Turkiye already developed AESA Radars with GaN technology for ISTIF class LHD and SIPER Air Defense System

Turkish MURAD AESA Radar with Gan technology was integrated into AKINCI UCAV
and in 2024 into the F-16S and KIZILELMA

Even GE F-110-129 Engine is enough to match with Russian and Chinese Engine

and 35.000 lbf Turkish turbofan Engine will be ready in 2028 for the first flight
and in 2032 for the mass production of KAAN Fighter Jet

Turkiye received technical assistance only during the design phase from the UK ( BAE Systems )

But there was not technology transfer
and BAE Systems did not provide as much technical support as we wanted


TAI has already did an excellent job with HURJET and ANKA-3
( Smooth and perfect first flights )


We dont worry about the first flight of KAAN
We dont worry about technology of KAAN
great stealth design , advanced magnetic coating , RAM panel layer and internal weapon bay , AESA Radar , HMDS , IRST , EOTS , DIRCM , etc

We are only waiting for 35.000 lbf indigenous Turbofan Engine with the latest technologies
