Tamil Nadu was one of the first states and one of the few to get rid of Brahmin hold over society, the whole anti Brahmin movement was big there.. majority of the ppl have dropped their caste surname, it's considered backward.. almost most will have their father first name as their surname where as previously ppl will have their caste as their surname.. so yes, we are much more enlightened in terms of education, society etc compared to the rest of you folks... You must be stupid, most muslim families I know have many kids.. hardly any resource for education where as Hindu families and particularly from the south have just one or at most 2 kids.. and education takes utmost priority in the family.. no fancy clothes etc it's education and education.. why do you think some of the most successful Indian CEO's on the west are of South Indian origin?
