personally id also argue that in retrospect, Damen would have been a better partner if it was purely about hulls, however, the Milgem deal was more than just hulls, systems, sensors, other projects etc- it was a long term play.

Damen also had massive benefits- Partnering with Damen would likely mean that we would have had them setup a shipyard, somewhere like Gwadar and have both KSEW and Damen Gwadar build the vessels in parallel, on top of that- Damen would be a pretty good partner for original designs/custom designs on the low cost side of things

Turkey also rebuilt/modernized a shipyard in Pakistan, I don't remember the details but long story short, babur class couldn't be built without that modernization effort.

not true- ksew modernisation had nothing to do with Turkey. It was a domestic drive for the submarine building/more efficient production- there was no reason Babur class couldnt have been built.

Phalanx CIWS is the only CIWS on Yarmook and you just proved my original point.

That Yarmook being a glorified patrol vessel and Ada class being a frontline ship that can fight any frigate or submarine that comes her way.
And honestly Ada class is much more than that, if you pay attention to the details.

youre struggling to make the distinction between batch 1 and batch 2...

Batch 2 has literally 90% of the things youve posted in this graphic repeatedly- while costing likely half of the Ada class. Which is why PN wants 8 total between batch 2 and 1. So 4 more B2.

The Batch 2 is likely a ship capable of dealing with the BrahMos threat better than the 054A. The same systems onboard will be found on Babur, only until Jinnah will there not be a massive difference.

This is your first "indigenous" ship so why should we risk a newbie? It hopefully wasn't purchased just because they were Muslim and it seems its just a mashup of avante 2000 and forget about glorifying it with big words of "frontline".
