Of course, incompetence and corruption are not acceptable to me. But there is a difference here. Incompetence/corruption are certainly different from the crimes tat constitute breaking the Hadood-u-Allah. The holy Quran has clearly defined hadood/limits which absolutely require an Islamic punishment for the offender of those crimes. Any offender of hadood-u-Allah is automatically disqualified for any leadership role (if he/she survives the punishment) . There is no such bar for incompetence (but it generally makes no sense to give another chance to such a person to have a public office). Charsi khota certainly falls in the first category.

Averyone will go to his own grave. Supporting a criminal who clearly has broken the hadood of Allah SwT is a serious issue (w.r.t. one’s own Iman/belief) and has to solely face the consequences of one’s own actions. No one can force anyone to support this or that guy. It’s your own choice.
