The idea only works once the Arab world drops this old ego that they “lead” anything. For decades they genuinely saw themselves as above non‑Arab Muslims and almost equal to Western powers — until Iran shattered that illusion and Pan‑Arabism collapsed. That’s the part people always forget.
If they’re serious about any trilateral defence axis, they’d have to invest heavily into Turkish and Pakistani defence industries. Otherwise, why would anyone die for them? Especially when the likely scenario is the West quietly backing Iran or Israel to drag the region into another Muslim‑on‑Muslim conflict.
Let’s see how this unfolds, but the days of Arabs assuming automatic leadership are over. Any future alignment only works if they recognise that reality first.
