Afghanistan has defeated two major superpowers and has been undefeated over the centuries.

Pak is finihsed. Pak should not have woken up this sleeping dragon.

The first one was bankrolled by U.S tax payers, the second war was due it our support. Both Wars were won because of Insurgency against an occupying force. You guys tried to invade bannu in 50s and got your ass handed to you.

PS: Times were different back then. Americans did their best to bring Pakistan to it knees. They aided insurgencies via NDS/India. Pak Army only moved against TTP because Pakistan itself was now threatened as they were less than 100 km from Islamabad. There were rumour that American teams that had arrived in the Gulf to seize our nukes. We also came close to a shooting war after the Salalah incident. They used FATF, IMF and other means to break our economy. They ran an international media campaign against us for decades--the entire world was piling on us. We have come back from the brink. We could easily have been another Syria.

They defeated the Soviets because Pakistan helped them. The heart and brains of the Mujahideen were all in Pakistan. There is a reason Taliban Supreme Council is called Quetta Shura.

Afghanistan did not "defeat" America. America achieved its objectives and left (that too 10 years late).

There are more Afghans (Pashtuns) in Pakistan than the rest of the world combined. WE are the sleeping dragon.

Like Indians cry about the British and forget it was them who created and united India, Afghans forget that Pakistan is the only reason Afghanistan doesn't speak Russian (or been gaza-style genocided off the face of the earth by Bush and Trump).

While amusing - the rather deep links between the Taliban, TTP and families living in the Tribal areas means that any idea of invasion is delusional but a Sustained guerilla campaign which a wrecked Pakistani economy has no hope of sustaining is very doable.

With the political situation driving a deep chasm within the two Ps of Pakistan’s population and the Army currently in that province technically operating under sentiments of uprising this threat while meaningless from this individual cannot be completely ruled out where KP is concerned

The collective militants in Afghanistan can simply do what the 90s Mujahideen did in terms of cross border raids into economic zones and the state will collapse in itself.

That being said - any Pakhtoons in Pakistan should not be under the delusion of brotherhood. The Afghans have a memory of how the local “brethern” treated them(right or not is a separate discussion) and will be extremely harsh with the Pakistani ethnic similies.

Pakistan can always go brutal expecially with the military regime. We can simply kill them all but that is unfesable if we are to follow islamic law. But I certainly won't want them to kill more Pakistanis Afghans have caused us already 100,000 deaths. Religion is a strong bond but in self defence we are allowed to kill those who kill us and that's should be the policy of pakistan and to convince the region to form a coalition against Afghanistan.

I say solution is to break Afghanistan along ethnic lines the Afghani pastuns are already not liked by many in Afghanistans minority. We should ask them to come to sense or be broken and die for nothing more then killing fellow Muslims and sucking up to Hindus.
