Hi,

Come down from your high horse---. I mentioned Regional---. Not all assets of IN be available in this region---.

You don't need to agree---and that is fine---. But we have achieved our first primary goal---.
 
When are the Jinnah class ships coming

I believe their are 8 in total and my understanding is that although they are frigates, they will provide a destroyer like punch

6 new SSK(N)s by 2035? We haven't even inducted all 8 Hangors yet, not sure our coffers would allow for this new venture.

Jinnah FFG will be PN's first major surface combatant in-house project, so expect delays in construction & milestones. PN has not revealed much information about timelines. We will have better idea about timelines, once Keel Laying ceremony for the first Jinnah ship is held. That will be the first milestone to mark official start of construction.

On number of ships, again there is no official news on quantity of Jinnah frigates. Nothing is official. IMO, it would be 2 initially. More could be later. However, PN has found a good alternate supplier for filling up numbers even with tight budget and faster timelines, that is Damen's 2600s (Yarmook batch-IIs). These are cost-effective & deliver quickly while also adding good capability. So, PN will have to evaluate if more Jinnah FFGs are feasible with then economic conditions.

Hi,

We have more than enough ships in stock---. Possibly our resources of training new crew and integration are running at the maximum for now---.

Sometimes a delay is not a delay but an intentional request to slow down production to catch up in training new crews---.

054A's & Milgems are capable platforms but with those 'leapfrogging' IN is an overstatement.

The PN's edge and its most lethal arm is going to be those 11 AIP enabled attack subs and not these surface ships.

Any conflict / war between IN & PN is going to be regional anyways.

It should never be assumed that IN's assets from its eastern command will not be available against Pakistan. IN surely can bring those too and make those available. Any calculation must include whatever is available to adversary.
 
Why still no ciws at the back ? Trails should include all weapons set that Turkey 🇹🇷 has responsibility ??
Perhaps Ssm may be on PN responsibility so where is ciws ??

Ftom the current fleet ur missing out the Agusta 70 n the Chinese sub on loan to train our crews.
Wt we r truly missing our 2-3 sqd of land based twin engine ac....like the j 35. Manned by PAF crews on deputation with PN...under PN command.
inducting the j16 at this point in time would a waste of resources.
Plus at least 2 -3 saab 2000 should be handed to the navy to cover our southern flank.....plus 3-4 tankers.
